The Pro Video VDP-5000 Video Security Intercom System provides you with video security and a two-way intercom system in one easy-to-install package. The VDP-5000 system includes a VDP-M5F monitor and a VDP-C5F flush-mount camera, and features a two-way manual switcher that allows you to expand the system up to two monitors and cameras (additional monitors and cameras sold separately). Complete with support for an optional door release, the VDP-5000 is perfect for securing and controlling almost any entry way in your home or small business. The Pro Video VDP-M5F unit that comes with this system utilizes a four-inch flat black-and-white CRT (cathode ray tube) screen to show you who is at the door. This unit features a door-chime call signal, and a duplex handset communication system that allows two-way audio. Mounted via simple screw terminals, the VDP-M5F is constructed of durable white plastic and has a maximum wiring distance of 165-feet with 22 AWG (American Wire Gauge) wire. This unit runs on 12-volts regulated DC via an included power supply, and can operate in temperatures ranging from 14 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit. The Pro Video CDP-C5F unit that comes with this system utilizes a solid-state CCD (charge-coupled device) image sensor with a 3.6-millimeter fixed wide-angle lens. This unit fits flush with the wall and features a 110-degree horizontal and 92-degree vertical picture angle, and a duplex hands-free communication system that allows two-way audio. Mounted via simple screw terminals, the VDP-C5F is constructed of pewter-gray metal and includes IR (InfraRed) LEDs (light emitting diodes) that allow it to receive a usable picture in very low-light conditions of 0.1 Lux up to 19-feet away.
