For compact cameras you want to carry in your purse, getting a regular camera case is overkill. I just wanted something to provide a little cover and cushioning for my camera. I didn't want to have to take the camera out of a case or bag every time to use it. This Camover camera sleeve is perfect for that! You feed the camera's wrist strap through the loop, so the sleeve is always attached to the camera. Then, when you want to use the camera, you just slip the sleeve off the body. The sleeve stays attached to the camera where the wrist strap feeds through the loop so you can slip it back on easily. You can push it completely out of the way to take a picture.
I highly recommend this for anyone with a compact camera that would fit well in the sleeve. To give you an idea of the size, I have a Fuji F40fd, and the case fits snugly around it, almost a perfect fit.
The only annoying thing is the microfiber cleaning cloth. It scrunches up when you slip the sleeve on and off. I ended up cutting it off.
