Battery to the rescue October 7, 2008 I have an older digital camera and previously ordered what I thought was the correct BP511A battery, nope didn't fit. Returned the wrong size battery and purchased this one and I was so excited that it fitted and now I can take digital photos again.
Best battery for your DSLR! September 28, 2008 First party batteries are the the best if you want long life, compatibility, and to avoid any other issues that may arise. The hefty premium is worth the ability to take more shots than those 3rd party brands!
Works like it should. September 13, 2008 Works just fine, allows a decent number of shots. I bought an extra battery to go with my BG2 grip and 40D. With two batteries you can shoot for quite a while.
Dont Buy NON-Canon Batteries For Your Pro-Equipment August 24, 2008 Yeah I know Canon batteries cost more , but you get what you pay for. Sure you can get the same battery from a different company for as low as $5 on Amazon , but I wouldn't trust those batteries in my equipment. I used to think the generic batteries were just as good until I bought a few. Years later my canon batteries still work and the generics are both almost completely dead. Buy canon batteries for your canon equipment
Always use OEM batteries August 19, 2008 I have not used this yet but its basically a rule you should always follow. Never buy cheap third party batteries. They usually do not last as long as OEM.
Any serious photography should carry an extra battery with them just in case.
