4 out of 5 stars Lens Cap Review   September 30, 2008
The lens cap works better than the one that came with the camera(Sony Alpha 100). The latching mechanism on the original one failed shortly after I bought the camera, causing temporary, and then permanent loss of the cap. This new one works much better. I bought one with a leash so that I could safely attach it to the camera, but that has not worked out. The leash slips over the lens housing OK, but can just as easily slip off. To summarize ; The cap works great, but the leash is disappointing.

5 out of 5 stars Worked like a charm   August 10, 2008
I purchased this item and it fit perfectly. The lanyard is quite handy too when you have to remove the lens cap on the fly and you need your hands free to operate your camera. I just hung it on my finger and snapped my shots. It arrived promptly and in mint condition.

3 out of 5 stars Good, but strap doesn't adjust   June 15, 2008
After losing my old lens cap in the Floridian Key water it was time to pick up another with a strap so I didn't repeat the same mistake.
At the end of the day this is a lens cap so nothing to get excited about. However I rate as average because the strap is too big to secure on my camera and does not adjust.
