Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
One side of the card has a neutral 18-percent reflection which can be used indoors to aid in measuring the average reflection for a typical subject. You can also use this side of the card outdoors by increasing the exposure 1/2 stop above the calculated exposure. The other side of the card has 90-percent reflection for use at low- light levels. The use of this card and appropriate adjustments for aperture and exposure time is covered in Kodak Gray Cards, Kodak Publication No. R-27.

5 out of 5 stars A Must For Professionals   July 16, 2008
As a pro photographer, proper white balance is a must, even when shooting in RAW. You can save yourself 1000 headaches trying to get that picture to look right! These cards have streamlined my proofing process down to minutes from hours.

Heavy duty cards (read: thick, almost cardboard thick)and the smaller one comes with a plastic sleeve to protect it while in your camera bag.

3 out of 5 stars Nothing fancy...   June 27, 2008
I guess it is partly my own fault for assuming, but i thought they were going to be plastic. It never mentioned what they were made out of in the description from what I have seen. These greycards are actually just grey cardboard. I guess they will work fine, until they get bent or wet. Also it is advertised as a two pack. It was actually 2 - 8X10 cards and 1 - 4X6 card. Personally I would probably not order this again and would opt for a plastic one, but it's all personal preference I suppose. I just know my equipment can take a beating once in a while and these cardboard pieces will not stand up to it.
