I haven't been in the business long enough to have tried or even seen everything that's available. However, after considerable research I decided on Lowel, for a variety of reasons not the least of which were customer reviews, and I wasn't disappointed. Lowel makes a really great product in this support system. It goes beyond sturdy, very simple in design and can also be used for lighting support. It's effortless to put together and of obvious quality. I've no doubt it will last longer than I. Adorama Camera, from where the item was purchased, is a great place to do business. The transaction was effortless and delivery was super fast - not the first time I've done business with them and not the last.
