Amazon.com Product Description Great for stadium sports as well as hunting, the Bushnell Falcon is the standard in a wide-angle binocular. The durable design and finish allow for use in harsh conditions and rugged terrain. Coated lenses are helpful to keep fog out of vision and fold-down eyecups protect eyeglass lenses from scratching. The InstaFocus lever functions smoothly with just enough tension to control the magnification properly.
Product Description An exceptional go-everywhere binocular, the Falcon is a great companion for sporting events, sightseeing outings, nature study, backpacking, theatre or concerts. Features include Bushnell porro prism coated optics for super sharp images. Affordably priced, and offered in two magnifications, these binoculars provide the detail that you would expect from a Bushnell product.

Very nice! July 19, 2008 Man, for the price it is one decent piece of equipment for my modest needs of occasional tourist. It also got some tough treatment and withstood it heroically. It is sharp enough for me. If you need a binocular of the size for general field trip where kids and other people who do not care too much about gentle optics will use it, it is one you wish to buy. On other hand, if you know binoculars and expect top performance you need something more refined. For a general, not fancy, public it is awesome buy!
Buyer's regret due to cheap parts July 11, 2008 Based on the good reviews that I read here, I was expecting the same quality of another Bushnell that I bought for my son a decade ago. Unfortunately, this model came apart once I pulled it out of the box. The focus lever stopped working because the eyepiece attachments to the focus lever were secured by a cheap & thin plastic washer that crumbled at first use. I could have asked for a refund, but preferred to fix it using a custom-fit metal wash, attached to the original plastic cap with strong epoxy glue. I hope that it'll now hold for many years. I would not have bought it however if I knew that its plastic parts were so weak.
Bushnell Falcon 10x50 Wide Angle Binoculars (Black) July 1, 2008 Perfect binoculars for the price - works well, easy to focus, nothing fancy. Exactly what you'd expect.
