Warning to others October 14, 2008 I just got my Fuji S7000 back from the repair shop. The card (Scandisk ultra II Plus) stuck in the memory card slot and it cost me $95 to have it removed!! The repairman said not to use it in my camera again or it would get stuck, again. Not sure if this is a problem with my particular camera but check it out before you purchase!
Something all memory cards should do September 7, 2008 This is really pretty simple (the way things should be). A memory card that you can plug into your camera, cell phone, mp3 player or whatever, and then flip down the side and plug it directly into your computer's USB port (something every modern computer has). Allows you to get pictures off your camera without bringing the cable with you. Also saves camera battery life and lets you share pictures wherever you are.
Overall good product. August 8, 2008 All in all, this is a very nice card. Got it for $10 + free shipping, so no complaints there. Having the USB on there is a very nice feature, with one exception, however. Apparently it is a high power USB device, meaning that I cannot plug it into my Apple keyboard's USB hub. This means for you, the reader, that you will either need to plug it straight into your computer or into a powered or decent quality USB hub. Minor gripe, but worth noting.
Nice to have but slow August 5, 2008 This is the old version. Speed is about 10mb, newer high capacity(2gb, etc) version works at 15mb. Even the Ducati version is slow at 20mb...
I Didn't Get It May 30, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I ordered two of these, but received two Sandisk Ultra II 1.0 GB SD cards and two SanDisk MicroMate USB readers instead. I was not asked if the substitution was acceptable or not.
