I Wish this Came with the Phone March 20, 2008 I have been using BlackBerrys since 1999. My current device is the 8320 and I got this because I am lazy. I hate to plug in the USB cord. With this cradle I drop it in and it charges using the 2 small contacts on the back of the device. No cords needed.
It also support the BlackBerry bluetooth headset. I am not as wild about this however. The BlackBerry headset comes in a tube like carrying case which also allows it to connect it to the charge cable. With the cradle you place the tube behind the device in to a round hole, which charges the headset. My problem is I don't take the carrying tube with me or want to. So every time I have to pull the tube off the rear of the cradle, pull the headset out of the tube and then put the tube back on the cradle. [...].
Behind the Headset charging port is a place for an extra BlackBerry battery which is just convenient. Myself, I don't have a need for an extra battery, I can get 5 days out of my device, but my wife seems to forget to charge her blackberry, we have the same model, all the time. I use to have her swap the battery out of mine but with the extra one there this is no longer needed.
The price is a little steep for a charging cradle but it does charge 3 different devices at the same time. If you have the money and are lazy like me, it is worth the investment.
