2 out of 5 stars Poor reception.....bad product   September 1, 2008
The range of this headset is terrible. I cannot even put my Razr in my pants pocket and use the headset without terrible static. I am very dissapointed, and do not even use the headset anymore.

I never received this order. I complained and received a replacement order that was defective. I returned the defective order requesting a refund. I was refundes $0.00 because the packing slip with the replacement order said $0.00. I emailed back and said I was owed $44.10 for the original order that was never received and I have'nt heard anything else, yet.
I WANT MY REFUND SO THAT I CAN PURCHASE A DIFFERENT PRODUCT TO REPLACE THE ORIGINAL ORDER THAT I NEVER RECEIVED!!!!
YOU ARE TYING UP MY MONEY!!!!

3 out of 5 stars bought the wrong one   June 23, 2008

I bought this to replace my Scala-700, which lasted about a year. I purchased the 700 specifically for the VersaClip feature of being able to clip it onto my glasses rather than using the ear clip, however, even though it APPEARS to have the same capability (the hole is in the same place), the hole is not the same size on the 600 and is therefore incompatible with the VersaClip. Fortunately, I wasted less than $25, including shipping charges.

2 out of 5 stars If you want quality..no. Cheap...yes   June 16, 2008

I purchased this after the 2 Motorola HS850's died. I had them for years. Unfortunately, Motorola changed what they thought was a good headset and the new ones aren't that great.

So while at a store, I purchased the Scala 600. It was very cheap ($25), looked good and seemed like it had what I wanted.

My BIGGEST complaint is this thing has its own ringer and after I connect, it still continues to ring for another 3-4 seconds in my ear. Even though the cell phone has connected, you can't speak either.

My second complaint (actually tied with first) is it takes 10 SECONDS to turn the unit on if its off. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? I have to actually answer the phone and then tell people to hang on. Who ever designed this feature is a moron.

My third complaint is range. I can have my cell phone on the opposite side of my body and people can't hear me.

And last, the sound quality (both incoming and outgoing) is horrible. I do wonder if the unit got better reception, if the sound would improve. Sometimes it gets so bad, I remove the bluetooth pair and then reinstall it. Sometimes it Improves things.

Im using a brand new LG VX10000 Vogager. I even replaced the phone once thinking it was the phone.

2 out of 5 stars You get what you pay for. Snap, crackle, pop.   May 25, 2008

This earpiece works, holds a charge(long talk time), fairly easy to pair with your phone. But... people say I sound like I'm in an echho chamber and it crackles when I'm listening to people. But, then again it was $20.
So to sum up... Cheap.
Long talk time.
Easy to use.
Bad reception.(good enough to talk while driving)
