 Does not fit LG CU720 Shine July 21, 2008
I ordered this package for my new LG CU720 Shine cell phone. However, even though this model is listed among the many that it supposedly fits, it will not work with this phone. The plugs will not insert into the recepticle on the phone. In addition, the CD of drivers accompanying the USB cable does not list a driver for this model, and the CD does not indicate that it will work with a Vista powered machine (I didn't get far enough in the installation to test this).
Don't buy this package for a Shine phone.

About what I expected for the price and after reading the other reviews. I felt it was worth the risk to try it, since this price was less than buying any one of them separately at full retail. So far, everything works. As noted elsewhere, the CD contains the USB driver for the cable only, which worked for me, on an older Dell Inspiron, XP home. Downloaded and using BitPim for phone interface GUI.
data cable no go with lg shine June 30, 2008
I guess it depends on your phone, even though this cable says it works with the shine, there is no shine driver on the cd. without the proper driver you cannot proceed. I don't think it's the cable at all, which is working very well at charging the phone. I did hunt around and downloads the drivers, the phone then shows up as removable f:...sometimes....but not in Windows Media Player and I could not get any music to transfer, I kept getting I/O device error.
By the same token I got a Z9 and was able to easily connect and transfer using WMP.
I bought a reader writer, and I was able to finally get music onto the shine. So just beware that the data cable is NOT working with all phone. It's all over the internet too.

I was very happy with price and quality of the phone chargers, but the cd rom and usb cable did not pick up my phone, and was not recognized on my pc.
 Great Value June 20, 2008
This is a great value, It is compatable with all the LG Phones in my house the Chocolate/Venus/VX8350. Now I have a spare charger and USB cable along with my car charger for less than my service provider would charge for the car charger. Note: the VX8350 doesn't seem to charge from the USB cable but otherwise all the phones work with all the devices.
