I wanted to transfer photos from phone to computer, but computer did not see the phone.....
figured need to look for driver...
failed
pictures still on the phone....

The item is listed as a cable and driver CD. However I received a call from the vendor stating that cable didn't come with a CD and that was a misprint. I needed the cable so I ok'd it to be shipped without the CD.
Whenit arrived it was in a small envelope via the postal servive. They charged me $4.95 shipping and "handling".
It's pretty funny that a $1.37 purchase cost me almost $7.00 and I only received half of what I ordered.

The cable is fine except that it doesn't provide charging capability from the computer. The software is the real problem. I have an enV VX9900, which is explicitly listed in the title of the product, but the CD provided had no software that supported it. Finally went with the microSD option. WAY easier to transfer pics and videos to and from the phone!
Don't waste your $$$ July 23, 2008
This cable is so cheap that it fell apart the very first time that I attempted to remove it from my phone. I then bought an OEM cable which has worked perfectly. Skip this one and go get an OEM cable that will last longer than one time!

This item works great. An excellent addition to my phone. You can use the software that came with it, or download BitPim software for free from the web and use it. Why buy the expensive software from the oem, when this works flawleesly. My pc reconized the unit almost immedietly, and off I went. I would highly recomend this item.
