not impressed October 4, 2008 I'm using this headset with a Dell laptop; the sound is not all that good, there is an occasional lag, and I have yet to figure out how to make the mic work.
Perhaps Bluetooth headsets have a little ways to go yet in development; I also use a bluetooth mouse with this laptop, and I've realized since trying to use this headset that there is a lag to get bluetooth devices going with the PC, which is something I've never noticed when using an ear bud with my cell phone.
Fantastic September 16, 2008 This head set is soooo good on sound, music and no static or weird tunnel sounds to other people who are listening to me talk on it so yes this is a FANTASTIC buy!!! PS I am hard of hearing and yet this head set suits me just fine all the way. When I am not wearing it I miss it.
Excellent BlueTooth Headset September 8, 2008 I'm hard of hearing and several months ago I purchased a Plantronics wireless headset for my office phone. It works great. I tend to talk with my granddaughter a lot on our cell phones but always have a problem understanding her mile-a-minute talk, mostly because I simply couldn't hear her well. Since purchasing this headset I can now understand her and others much better on my cell phone and can talk for hours without interruption. I'm beginning to fine that Plantronics products are of very high quality and provide a standard of clarity that I've found nowhere else. I'd certainly recommend these products to others.
Good Performance, Easy Pairing, Flimsy Construction August 19, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have used these headsets for more than 2 years with my iPod classic and a variety of Bluetooth cell phones. They are easy to pair, feel comfortable and the sound quality is very good. Battery life is fairly long - for my use, almost a week. The Bluetooth adapter that comes with 590A fits very snugly into the iPod 3.5 mm audio jack (unlike many others). Telescopic microphone is unobtrusive, works well on cell phones and the listeners at other end don't complain of poor voice quality.
The main drawback of these headsets is their flimsy construction, cheap plastic. One of the cables became loose after a year and the plastic casing on one side cracked. So the sound from one side is intermittent now. Other cons include tiny and poorly placed controls - almost unusable while wearing headsets, very bright blue light and they do not cover the ears completely so there is no blockage of background sound.
They are not the perfect Bluetooth headphones but in my experience they have worked better than the other ones that I have tried - iLUV 903 and Logitech
Great bluetooth stereo July 31, 2008 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
The bluetooth stereo works great with my pda phone. The distance is about 30 feet. Using it for a headset is great also but the mic is too sensitive. I put tape over the mic to lower the ambiant noise.
