Amazon.com Product Description For the ultimate in wireless freedom, look no further than the Plantronics Voyager 510 Bluetooth Headset, which represents a generational leap in Bluetooth headset technology. The 510 is comfortable and light enough for all day wear, and it offers unprecedented clarity and sound quality. These are great features, but the real revolution involves Plantronics' exclusive "Multipoint" technology, which allows the headset to function as a powerful communication solution for up to two Bluetooth devices. With Multipoint technology you can switch between your voice-enabled Bluetooth mobile phone, PDA or laptop. The headset's "smart" technology knows which device you are using and allows you to take calls from any device at the touch of a button. With the optional Plantronics Bluetooth Deskphone Adapter you can even switch between your office phone and your Bluetooth mobile phone. You'll never need to use a dedicated "landline" phone headset again. The 510 features a noise-canceling microphone for clearer conversations, and it folds for easy storage. The boom also swivels for perfect positioning on either ear. One-touch call control buttons are placed for easy access, and you can easily redial the last number dialed and initiate voice-activated calls from the headset. Because the 510 is Bluetooth-enabled (it supports the Bluetooth 1.2 specification) you can roam up to 33 feet from your Bluetooth device. Meanwhile, the 510 supports adaptive frequency hopping (AFH) which helps avoid interference from wi-fi networks. Ample talk time is provided by the built-in rechargeable battery; you'll get up to 6 hours talk time and up to 100 hours of standby time.

Best headset I've tried October 6, 2008 The Voyager 510 has great battery life that lasts longer than the talk time on my Blackberry. The headset has a large, medium, and small ear piece so that you can find one that is the right fit for you. The power and volume buttons are very difficult to use when the headset is on your ear. This headset produces clear, loud, and static free sound.
A great headset... October 6, 2008 First, let me get the 2 minor negatives out of the way.
1. There's no "beep" when a call drops or if your hung up on by mistake (Hello? Are you still there?).
2. The "Power/Mute" is tough to use, but pushing/pulling the button to the left from it's right side as I push down made using it easier. These 2 things are why the Voyager 510 receives 4 stars instead of 5.
I'll just ramble on about what I like. Clear and crisp sound, the cushion in your ear doesn't leave you listening to your environment in mono, the wind doesn't interfere with the mic or bluetooth signal from the phone as much as my other 2 headsets, the mic picks up my voice commands with little repetition and this unit just made an appearance in this weeks "The Simpsons" where Bart gets ahold of Dennis Leary's cell phone....it was being worn by the bully Dolph.
Best headset I've tried October 5, 2008
This is a great headset. I've tried several, including the first-gen jawbone and this one is better. Audio is clear, headset is a little large but is still comfortable, and the mic is excellent.
Nothing bad to say.
Indestructible October 5, 2008 When Washington State enacted its hands free device law while driving, I did a lot of research and came up with this plantronics Voyager 510. It's a very simple and easy to use no nonsense Bluetooth device, and after using it for the last few months, it has served its purpose but there is one amazing thing that astounded me. I came home from work one day and my wife let me know that the plantronics went through the wash. After a few days, I decided to charge it up and just see what happens and to my astonishment it worked! And as good as new with no issues! This is truly a bulletproof little Bluetooth! I highly recommended it.
Great fit, works like a charm October 5, 2008 I have owned two of these now. The first one I used for nearly 2 years and people were complaining that I was breaking up alot. I purchased a second one, and it works great too. Reception is very clear. I loved it so much I bought one for my fiance' and he loves it too. That's 3 total, so we must be happy with it!
