Exactly what I needed for the car! July 9, 2008 My BlackBerry auto charger came as an original equipment accessory in plain packaging with a RIM/BlackBerry label. I noticed that my charger had a different voltage rating than the 12/24V description. But the charger has worked well with my BlackBerry Curve to date and was much less expensive than buying it from an AT&T retail store.
Good deal, works well May 14, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Don't bother looking around and just get this. It's a steal at ten something with shipping. It looks like it's a real RIM product and works. The company also shipped it out on Monday after I ordered on Sunday. That's quick service! I have a BB 8820.
Works great January 7, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This works great with my wife's Blackberry Pearl. Now that she has Bluetooth in her car, she really needed a way to keep the phone charged while on the road. This does the job as expected.

sf planet sends me the wrong product. I contact them and they assumed the error, but after a long e-mail conversation, they suggested that I should keep the charger they send (for Motorola), because they think it will work in my blackberry...fast e-mail reply, but finally no solution for me (the customer)
An OEM Product At A Fraction Of The OEM Price August 5, 2007 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
This product appears to be a genuine original equipment Blackberry car charger. It has the Blackberry name and logo on it. The plate on the bottom of the cigarette lighter plug of the unit states that the electric output is 5 volts, 500mA (500 milliamperes or .5 ampere). The plate on the wall charger packaged with a new Blackberry 8800 states that the wall charger output is 5 volts, .75 ampere. Thus, it appears that the car charger produces two thirds the electrical charge produced by the wall charger (.5 vs. .75 amp.)
This car charger is used with a Blackberry 8800 and has performed admirably and without any problems. It costs a fraction of the price charged by AT&T ($29.99), apparently for the same product.
