Amazon.com Product Description This hard case offers durable, low-profile protection for your iPhone, while still allowing access to the touch screen, microphone, and connectors. Two-piece, snap-on construction ensures a snug fit, protecting your device against dust and dings. The Agent18 company spans back many generations of music device protection, starting with its founder, Wilhelm von Agent, maker of the first glass harp cover back in 1579. More than 300 years later, the family business was passed onto Vesputi Virginina-Agent, an Italian cousin and inventor of the first wooden phonograph cover (Il Protectoro del Fonopodo) back in 1888. He took the business with him to America, where his great grandson eventually created the aluminum record player cover in 1957. As technology flew forward, so did the Agent family's music protection... with the Rubber Jukebox Glove, the Cover-man for Walkmen, and the neon Ka-boom Box Plastic Dome. Now, 18 of the descendents of Wilhelm von Agent live and work at Agent18. Headquarters are located in the attic of the Griffith Park Observatory in Los Angeles, Calif., where Agent18 creates breakthrough protection for music devices and other electronics accessories for the world. Okay, the real truth is that Agent18 is just a bunch of nerdy engineers that spend a lot of time with their iPods, cameras, PSPs, and computers, and protecting those gadgets is important to them. All of Agent18 products are designed in sunny Southern California, or on a plane, or sometime when one of the Agent18 team members is out running in the park! Agent18's goal is to design products that its employees would use for products that they love. They hope you will like the products as well. Welcome to Agent protection.

love it. March 11, 2008 I love this case, it protects my iphone from drops, and it's sleek, and the best part is that you can see the iPhone. This is a hard plastic case btw.
I'm sorry I ever purchased this case January 30, 2008 I purchased this case because the guys at the Apple really liked it. The case does a good job at keeping your iPhone safe, but I'm sorry I ever did buy this case. I guess the plastic was cut wrong in the inside, of the case I got, and thanks to that my iPhone now has to really ugly scratches on the back. I should have purchased a silicon case instead, and for those that like this case cause it's clear, it really is not. It's as clear as the silicon cases, sort of a whitish finish to it.
Great look, poor endurance January 23, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I've had this case now for about 3 weeks and it looks great. Probably doesn't provide much protection, but it's better than nothing. The problem is that the two halves of the case are no longer secure and when I pull the iPhone from my bag, the case often separates. I have only opened the case twice since first putting it on the iPhone and so I'm not sure why this is. Nonetheless, the product is cheaply made and it shows. Apparently Agent 18 is an environmentally conscious outfit. As long as they make plastic cases that have to be replaced every month, they can hardly claim to be a responsible business.
Agent 18 has been extremely reliable over the years January 6, 2008 I was first introduced to this company when my friend bought a case for his 1st Gen Nano about 3 years ago. I received an iPod Video that Christmas and decided to try the iPod polycarbonate case of theirs. When I remove it, the iPod video still looks new (despite being years old now).
I naturally went with the iPod touch case they offered, and it is perfect. It leaves the brightness sensor and screen unprotected, as well as the docking port and sleep button. It snaps securely onto the iPod and adds some bulk to it (but not too much -- I prefer a little bulk, as to drop small things). Everything is accessible, and it can even dock and mount an iTrip. It reliably protects the iPod from most drops.
Simple good protective shell... December 10, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
First off, I like the company (Agent 18) and their business ethics!
As for the case? It's the closest thing to what I was looking for aside from a couple of things. I just wanted a simple case that would protect my phone from minor drops without being too bulky like most cases. I was hoping this case would of been a hardened (slightly soft) rubberized clear plastic, but it's just hard plastic. I do like how the case is completely open in the front. Should be protected as long as you drop it on a flat surface as it creates a slight ledge around the whole iPhone's surface. If you were to drop it onto rocks or something rough there's a good chance the screen could get damaged, but if I do that I'm not going to blame the case. Not that the case is heavy, but it would of been nice if the case was open on the back just like the front to make it a little lighter in weight and a little less bulky. The back is completely covered by the plastic, probably to help keep it sturdy, but I still think they could of used less plastic on the back. It came with a plastic dock adapter tray of some sort, but it makes absolutely no sense to me. It allows your phone to sit in it with the case on, but then what? The dock doesn't fit into my charger base... Maybe it works for radio or speaker system docks? I don't know, the information it came with doesn't tell you anything about it. I can plug my adapter straight into it through the adapter, but I can do that without the adapter tray as well. So what is it's purpose? It's not a stand by any means...
Sooo... in summary, it's a good simple case without being too bulky and still allows you to see the sleekness of the iPhone.
