The Pro Video VDP-C5S Surface Mount Camera for VDP-5000 allows you to expand the coverage points of your Pro Video VDP-5000 Video Security Intercom System. The VDP-C5S is an additional camera for the VDP-5000 system, which allows up to two cameras and monitors via its built-in two-way manual switcher. The Pro Video CDP-C5S utilizes a solid-state CCD (charge-coupled device) image sensor with a 3.6-millimeter fixed wide-angle lens. This unit mounts on the surface of the wall and features a 110-degree horizontal and 92-degree vertical picture angle, and a duplex hands-free communication system that allows two-way audio. Mounted via simple screw terminals, the VDP-C5S is constructed of pewter-gray metal and includes IR (InfraRed) LEDs (light emitting diodes) that allow it to receive a usable picture in very low-light conditions of 0.1 Lux up to 19-feet away. This camera unit runs on power supplied from the monitor via the connecting wire (22-gauge minimum), can operate in temperatures ranging from -4 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit, and measures 4.75 x 0.75 x 7.25 inches (W x D x H) in dimension.
