Product Description The Presentation Remote Pro frees you from your keyboard during a presentation or lecture. With RF, laser, mouse and audio controls in one sleek remote, it is an ideal tool for presenters and lecturers. Offering a range of more than 100 feet, the Presentation Remote Pro covers large meeting rooms and lecture halls - far outdistancing other remotes in its price range. There is no software to install - just plug the receiver into the USB port on your PC or Mac and it works within seconds.

More than slide changer October 12, 2008 I use this in my classroom. I wanted more than a slide presentation changer because I also use the projector for internet and other programs. I specifically searched for a remote that would also work as a mouse. The mouse control button is a bit touchy but I am getting used to it. I like the ability to black out projection (so I can talk to students without screen distraction) but that feature only works for powerpoint presentations. I can stand anywhere in my classroom and use this remote. Sometimes I "lose" the laser dot if I've been pointing at something for a long time, but it's never completely gone. I am very glad I have a remote with these extra features. Many of my colleagues bought a remote that works only with slide presentations - they are envious of my remote.
Perfect! October 9, 2008 It's just like a little mouse with a laser in your hand. You can do whatever you want in your presentation with it.
I recommend this keyspan control for everybody who wants an easy to use and full of functions presentation remote control.
It's worth the money! September 30, 2008 I purchased this for use in my job as an educator. I use PowerPoints a lot in class and was tired of being tied to my computer to move to the next slide. After reading other recommendations, I bought it. It has worked perfectly! I like that you can turn it on and off, so the battery will not drain as quickly. I have yet to master the mouse feature, but I love having the option to use it. It really works a great distance from the computer, but I haven't maxed out the distance quite yet. I highly recommend this to any educator, who uses technology to present in class.
Keyspan is a winner! September 19, 2008 I needed a remote for my laptop in order to give PowerPoint presentations, which I do frequently. I looked around and discovered this Keyspan Presentation Remote Pro and, from what I read, it would address all my needs. I purchased it and couldn't be happier. The degree of control, the range, the fact that it works on RF instead of line-of-sight IR, the many control options, the fact that I plugged it into my laptop's USB port and it worked instantly without any issues at all mark this as the clear winner for remote control. I honestly couldn't be happier with it. Anyone that sees it wants to know more about it and where I purchased it. The price, while not the cheapest available, is a real bargain as far as I'm concerned. "Two Thumbs Up!" to use an oft-quoted phrase ;^) Oh! One more thing...it uses two readily available AAA batteries instead of those god-awful (and expensive) button batteries many other remotes use.
remote works!! September 19, 2008
set it up on a mac as well as pc, both with powerpoint (office 2007 PC, office 2008 MAC)and it did exactly what it was supposed to.
