These generics look and feel the same. The differences are that these use mini USB, they will not use any Apple docking accessories. This will mount on your computer like a flash drive. MP3 files are copied over from one folder to another. No need for iTunes program. It does not have internet support either. These also cost about $150 less. Additionally, this unit has things iPods don't have, like FM Radio, E-Books, stylus and SD Memory slot. THIS DEVICE ONLY SUPPORTS REGULAR MINI SD CARD, NOT SDHC CARD.

Great Product August 30, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this item a couple of months ago for my birthday and I had problems with it shutting off. I emailed Pro Ebiz and they responded within two hours and we went over the problem and they had me ship it back. I received a new one within the week with an extra charger and an USB cable as we believe that is what was shorting it out. No matter how much you spend on any item, sometimes you are going to get a bad one and have to return it, including a vehicle. But I have had my new one for about a month and it works great and the customer service and response time I received was exceptional and I highly recommend this product to anyone.
Cool product, hard to set up August 24, 2008 This is a very cool touch screen player for the price, but the instructions that come with this are not very helping. I had a hard time setting up and puting music onto this.
Overall good deal for the price August 15, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Considering how much the player costs, only $55.49, it is a good deal for the money. I ordered mine on a Tuesday and received it two days later. The player works great with no problems as of yet. The video conversion software I received with it converted a video within one hour. The only reason that I give it a 4-star rating is for the touch screen. It, like many others say about it, is a little tempermental and may take a couple tries to get it to work. Otherwise, it works great. A good deal for $55.49!
Buyer Beware August 12, 2008 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I feel like it is my duty to make you all aware of the kind of products you are buying here. I have ordered the 4GB Touch Screen 2.8" TFT MP3/MP4 Music/Video Player + Accessories and only got to use the product for one month, then the screen went out. The company said that they could not fix the problem, but would give me a Nano 2nd generation knock off for five dollars shipping. I decided to do it since I was in need of something since I listen to my music when I run everyday. It got the new product, and the item will not turn on. I think that you should beware of the kind of products that are being sold. They are cheap knockoffs that don't work. If you are going to buy that much money you should get an item with a warranty that covers any problems, and a product that is good. I don't know where they got their items from, but they are very cheap. I have since bought a new mp4 player with a differant company and have had no problems. I just want you to beware that the products here don't last long, and are not covered with a good warranty. I think you should look for a differant company who has it's customers concerns at heart. I told this company of the problems with the second item, and they tried to tell me I was to dumb to know how to turn it on and charge it. Just Buyer Beware it is a bad company with rotten product. Save your money and go somewhere else, there is a reason they are so cheap.
You get what you pay for, but good customer service... August 10, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
You definitely get what you pay for. This is an okay product but not perfect. I had no problems converting video as others did. I just downloaded the update as the seller suggested. The screen sensitivity is a little temperamental, seemingly switching from very sensitive to almost non responsive. The interface is nowhere as pretty as that of the iPod Touch making it a bit difficult to navigate through music. The "eBook" viewer, as they call it, is misnamed since it doesn't actually display eBooks, it reads .txt files. The worst thing is the external speaker. Mine actually freaked out the day after I received it, issuing a loud sound which sounds like a scream. I chose not to return it though because for the day it did work, you can barely hear it, even at full volume. On the plus side, it worked just fine with the 2gb micro SD card I had with the addition of a micro to mini adapter. This product can be compared to the iPod Touch in the same way a Jetta can be compared to a Porche. But if your expectations aren't that high and you're looking for a decent sub-$100 MP4 player, this is for you.
UPDATED: I wound up sending it back after I discovered that the radio also didn't work. The company responded quickly to my e-mail and said that they would replace it. Just got the new one, and so far it's working great.
