For the wife May 16, 2008 Perfect for a travel size or to drag around for a day. Easy to use and takes great shots. At a concert, when back from the stage is doesn't have enough zoom, but it's not trying to be a Nikon either. A good all around purse size camera.
Better than expected May 16, 2008 This is my first digital camera, but not my first Canon. I am till learning how to use it. So far this camera has exceeded my expectations. The basic point and shoot is very simple to learn. Great pictures indoors without a flash. I really am looking forward to learning and using all the great features.
So good we now have two May 16, 2008 This is a GREAT camera! I bought one for my wife and we liked it so much that I bought one for myself. We will be using them when we don't want to carry our DSLR's or as a backup to our DSLR's while on our trip to Europe this summer. Picture quality is extreemly good for a point and shoot camera (actually it is almost as sufisticated as my DSLR). It has a very good zoom range (equivalent to 35mm to 210mm). I really like the image stabilization feature, I wish my DSLR had it. Great buy and high quality camera.
A great upgrade May 15, 2008 We moved up to this camera from the Canon A520 and are very pleased with the picture quality and the ease of operating. Just returned from a 14 day Alaskan cruise with lots of great pictures.
Canon PowerShot A720IS May 15, 2008 I have had the camera for two months and I love it I needed some thing that I could carry on a daily bases to get quick snap shots of my hyper there year old son and my now on the go 9 month old. It is a little chubby but has better quality pictures then my Kodak Easyshare Z885. I am not a photographer by any means so I like that it is pretty much point and click. Although I do find myself playing with the many maul controls it has, which has almost inspired me to learn more about photography.
