Does not work with CF cards September 17, 2008 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought this for use with my compact flash card for my Canon Digital Rebel camera. Compact flash cards are the ones where the reader has pins that plug into the end of the card. The slot was very tight and required a bit of a push to get the card in. I did not think anything of this as other card readers I have used were also tight. But to my dismay the pins on the card reader do not line up correctly with the card. Upon inspection I noticed that one of the pins in the reader had been bent over and another one had broken off in my card. Basically on first use the reader not only damaged itself but rendered my card useless as well. Don NOT buy this reader for CF cards. I did test the reader on one of my daughters SD cards and that did work, but I am still mad at the very cheaply made CF pins.
Cheap, Quick, and Functional September 3, 2008 This reader does exactly what it says. It installs with no problem under Windows Vista x64 and reads all sorts of cards quickly and without problem.
Everything and more August 30, 2008 This little package fulfills a need I never thought I would have. Here I sat with a gorgeous PC that had slots in the front for all my memory cards and sticks. So when my hubby bought me a new state of the art system, I was appalled to find them gone!! I panicked, that is until I found this little gem.For under $20 I now have the capacity to read and download my memory cards, but just about every one elses too. Thank you for making this neat little gadget. I love it.Transcend TS-RDM5W All in 1 USB 2.0 Multi Card Reader (White)

The Transcend Multi-Card Reader M5 works great. Its tiny and a good design. It was reasonable and well worth what I paid for it. Thanks. David Isbell
Worked without Issues May 31, 2008 13 out of 14 found this review helpful
Bought this because I purchased a A-DATA 16GB Turbo SDHC Class 6 Memory Card (when it didn't come with a reader) and the one I had was handling the card way too slowly, or not at all. I plugged this in, popped in the card, and everything worked fine.
I like that it has little thumbnails and names of what cards go into what slots, instead of having to match the slot size to the card size. It's compact, so if you have to pack it for a trip, it's not too bad. I'm not big on white electronics, but for the price, I didn't care. (There is a pink version out there, if you're into that sort of thing.)
