We used to use the older cup holder mount that we purchased on e-bay. It worked well, but the adjustment wheel was difficult to move. We could not get a real solid fit. Plus the shaft was a little on the cheap side and was not flexible.We found this mount and it solved the issues we had with the older mount. The tightening ring works great, and it gives a much tighter fit. That is important when you are supporting a $300.00 plus Golflogix. I really like the flexible shaft as well. It gives more options to get a good view of the GolfLogix in the cart.The new design also has a wider adjustment level. It will handle a cup holder up to 4 inches in diameter. And the shaft that supports the mount is about 2 inches longer than the older one.The holder is made specifically for the Garmin GolfLogix and Garmin Etrex. Both have the same bodies. The custom holder will hold your Golflogix securely unlike the side grip holders on the market.I am sure you will like this one as much as we do.

 an ok product, very good idea, needs work September 4, 2008
The cup holder Mount for the Golflogix Golf GPS, is a good idea.
I like where it sits in the cup holder, handy and out of the way, and better than the belt and bag clip. the one problem I have is that the mount comes off the shaft every 3 rounds or so, and then I have to unscrew the mount and put back on the shaft. I'm curious how often this will happen before it wears out. good idea, needs more work on sturdiness of product 3 out 5 stars
 Good design, poor construction August 25, 2008
After using the mount twice the GPS holder broke off the mount. I tried to glue it with a super glue and it only lasted one more outing. The design is good and I like the way it can be adjusted into the cup holder, but the way the clip is attached to the mount is the flaw.
Disappointed August 11, 2008
After using the cup holder mount for about a month it broke at the area where the flexible shaft enters the bracket that holds the gps unit. I glued it solid with epoxy so it doesn't swivel. End of problem. Now yesterday it came apart where the flexible shaft enters the expandable cup holder and I think the tiny bolt that holds it together is stripped. I tried and tried to get it to start but it won't. I love the the mount but the craftsmanship is rather shoddy. This has not been abused, these things happened under normal usage. I guess you get what you pay for!

a must have item when using the golflogix GPS. unlike the suction cup holders which can fail and fall off, the cup holder fits in any cup on any cart. its base expands to fit securely in any size holder. the top swivels up and down and left and right for easy viewing. after use, it fits easily in my golf bag.

Mounts and dismounts fast and easy. Very secure. Seems sturdy. Also worked great on our Sun Mountain speed cart cup holder.
