 mediocre sound, but great package October 11, 2008
Let's get one thing straight: the sound quality is not good.
If you walked blindfolded into a room where music was playing on these speakers, you'd probably think to yourself "that sounds pretty bad." It's not a good solution for any room where you could set up real (non-portable) speakers.
That said, the portability is fantastic. I really like the carrying case, the built-in rechargeable battery, and the remote. It's small and light enough to easily stuff into a backpack. I think the sound quality is better than most of the other portable speakers out there, FWIW.

The instructions are woefully bad and the speakers do not work with the ac adapter after fully charged. The thing just shuts off. A piece of junk

I bought these speakers to provide music on my deck, although the unit would be easy to carry for travel. I was pleasantly surprized at the sound. Price was much lower than the big-box stores. Have really enjoyed using it.

I bought these speakers after reviews raved about them. Well, they're not that great. I cranked the speakers up to see how loud they could get, and I started hearing crackling noises--not what you want from your speakers--so I returned them.
