Product Description Holds 30" to 40" LCD screens / Single stud design with VESA compatible mount
Amazon.com Product Description Give yourself added flexibility while watching your LCD or plasma flat-panel TV with this cantilevered mount. The device lets viewers overcome the biggest drawback of flat-panel TVs--the static wall installation, which can restrict viewing angles. Instead, this model's cantilevering arm extends fully from the wall and rotates 180 degrees laterally, so viewers can swivel the TV away from glaring light sources or toward a side couch for easier viewing. It's also ideal when doing chores, such as watching a movie through the kitchen door while cooking or cleaning. The mount complements most LCD and plasma TVs thanks to its durable platinum powder-coated finish, which looks comfortable in almost any living room. It's compatible with flat-panel TVs that measure in the 23- to 37-inch range and weigh less than 80 pounds. It also comes with all mounting hardware to make installation easier. What's in the Box Cantilever mount, installation hardware, user's manual.

Safe and Secure...but July 13, 2008 I purchased this for my Sony 32 inch HDTV and this thing is great and is very sturdy and was very easy to mount (make sure that you have a quality stud finder). I used mine and just to make sure I drilled 3 small pilot holes on each side of the mounting stud...just to make sure I did not hear that big crash in the middle of the night!!!
The only reason why I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 is that even though the mounting kit with a ton of different screw options for the many TV's out there; the mounting kit did NOT have the size screws to properly mount my Sony TV to the mount.
Also, there was 1 review who said that you need to get a 9/32 drill bit and this is not accurate. The manual clearly states that you use a 1/4 drill bit for mounting into wall studs.
Another thing is that the mount that I received I mounted myself since the there were open slotted holes at the top of the mount which I could screw the 2 top mounting screws into my tv prior to attempting to mount it to the mount itself.
I hope this helps!!!

I've mounted a number of LCD screens myself and this one was definitely the easiest. It took me less than 30 minutes to mount my 32 Samsung LCD flatscreen and half of that was figuring out where to put it in the bedroom. All the hardware necessary is included for the wall and TV connections. The mount is heavy gauge steel and is extrelemely sturdy compared to many others out there. It's also a great price for a cantilever. I highly recommend this mount for your flatscreen TV.
Flat screen tv mount February 8, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This mount is fantastic. It is strong and stiff. I put a 48 lbs 32 inch lcd tv on mine, and it works great.
Love it, but it might cover up some ports on back of TV December 28, 2007 As everyone else states, this thing is built like a tank and is indestructible. Installation was easy with a good socket wrench. My ONLY complaint is that the mount covers up several jacks on the back of my small Samsung 23" TV: Audio Out (optical), Audio Out (RCA jacks), and PC Audio In (mini-plug). Fortunately I don't care about the Audio Out jacks, and I was able to buy a 90 degree elbow jack for the PC Audio In jack from Radio Shack for $5 which enabled me to use that jack successfully. With larger TVs, this is probably not a concern, but I thought I'd mention it for anyone mounting a 23" Samsung TV.
Stable and very strong November 6, 2007 I got this to mount a 32" Westinghouse LCD. It easily holds the TV and is extremely solid. I've never installed or had any other TV arm mount but many other that I've seen at brick-and-mortar stores just look and feel cheap. This one is great.
Perhaps I'm being too picky, but it would have been VERY nice if a TV mounting arm could include SOME sort of cable management so that you can easily hide or control the cables that run to this. My setup is such that I have all wires run into the wall through a grommet (a closet is directly behind the wall in my house). Because of this, I simply used cable ties to keep the cables tucked away. It's not that elegant but it works and unless you're trying to reposition the TV you're unlikely to see any cables sticking out.
One word of caution -- make sure you mount this DEAD center in a stud. It can be a little difficult without a very accurate stud finder or some exploratory drilling. Spackle and some touch-up paint is cheap -- a new TV isn't! :-)
