3 out of 5 stars Arcade style gameplay, decent graphics   October 7, 2008
This is better than the first title with pretty good graphics and scenery but very unrealistic flying qualities. It's not like a flight simulator at all. Aircraft instrumentation is primitive. It reminds me of the Star Wars vehicles more than an airplane. It works better for me with a joystick instead of the PS3 controller. Very poor documentation adds to the frustration.

Blazing Angels 2 is a fun game.

It's one of the rare games that is fun and has a storyline. If you kill a character, it's for a good reason. I like that in a game.

2 out of 5 stars Not so great   June 24, 2008

Not a great game, and I like WWII games. Needs more freedom to fly on your own. Game ends if you don't stay on the mission. Borring!!

2 out of 5 stars A big pass on this one, if you want anything based in reality   May 7, 2008

Sorry to disagree with most people here, but this game is asinine. Yes, the graphics are nice and the control of the aircraft is reasonable, but the entire premise of the game is truly moronic. For example, one the missions is to land a spy, on a moving train, using a Hawker Hurricane. A) The Hurricane is a single seat aircraft. B) Land on a moving train to let a spy out?? Come on. If you like "Zen" arcade games with an "artistic mood" then yes, I can see it. If you want something that has anything to do with reality or reason, it would be best to pass on this one.
