This is a great drive with lots of storage. The rubberized shell protects it well.

I have had this drive for a few months and have used it with Windows XP and Vista. Overall, I find the reliability of the drive to be very good. Have never lost any data. Performance is another issue. It seems to perform better under Windows XP than Vista. I have tried both FAT32 and NTFS with similar results. My previous PNY 8 gb drive using NTFS was noticably faster.
From a value perspective, the drive is great. Very cost effective.
Unlike others, I don't mind the rubberized coating. It takes bumps and drops very well. This is important to me because I teach computer science full time and work as a consultant. I keep in on a lanyard so no "in pocket problems".
Just wish it was faster.

I've used a lot of USB Drives since the days of 256MB drives. My last drive before this one was a PNY 4GB that had its case fall off whenever I tried to pull it out.
This drive is everything and anything I hoped for a USB Drive to be.
First off, it comes with an extension cord so if your USB slots are filled up then you can easily plug in the extension and plug the Corsair drive. Perfect for computers with no forward USB slots.
After formatting to NTFS I have about 14.3GB of usable space. This is more than enough to haul GBs of songs, pictures, and anything else I want from computer to computer.
Lastly, I thought the rubber and wide design would be a huge negative about the drive but I've found it to be quite the opposite. The rubber design means it sticks in my pocket instead of slipping out whenever I sit down - I haven't lost this USB key once yet. Second, the wide design makes it a LOT easier to pull in/out of the USB slots. Just use the extension if it can't fit. Lastly, if you are ever bored, just bounce this thing on your desk. I read about this from another reviewer and second the fact that it works as a time killer.
Yes, it takes some time transferring 4GB of MP3s - with USB 2.0 it took me about 40 minutes. Sure is better than hauling an external drive with a power supply...
I don't have to worry about deleting stuff to save space either - this thing is enormous. Will be buying a 32GB when I come close to using the 16GB space this has. Corsair Voyager drives have a loyal customer now.
Definitely recommend this drive to everyone!
Great memory stick, great price July 5, 2008
This memory stick has a great price point, and 16GB holds a lot of critical data. The outer rubber covering protects the drive well. I wish the cap was attached to the stick however, because I can see myself losing it at some point. Overall, an excellent product.
Perfect Size June 22, 2008
This is flash drive is the perfect size for the price. Works flawlessly with multiple computers. The provided security program can be confusing.
