Love them. Makes long haul flights a pleasure. I find hours of "plane noise" exhausting and the noise canceling capabilities of these headphones are a life saver. I had two pairs of the SENNHEISER PXC250 (which worked great) but the wire running between the headphones and the noise canceling unit became loose and caused a short in both pairs. With these the noise canceling is built into the headphones and the wire plugs into the the headphones and the source. Nothing is hardwired so no chance of a short.

This product has nice cancelation ability and amazing sound clarity; however, it has one annoying design problem. The headphones leak sound to the point that you can think of them as loudspeakers! If you are surrounded by people, they will sure hear what you are listening. I do not know if other noise-cancelation headphones have this problem.

These headphones are the best. They provide clear sound and excellent noise cancellation. They work perfectly on the NYC subway...enough said ;0)

I won't go into great detail here as there are hundreds of other people that have.
The Bose headphones that I was going to purchase were $299. I read the reviews here and decided to try this product. I am so pleased with this headset and recommend it over the Bose I was going to buy at $299. I paid $114 here on Amazon!!
Fantastic noise-killers July 13, 2008
I bought 4 pairs of Audio-Technica Noise-Cancelling Headphones about a month ago for myself and three work colleagues. We work in a noisy open plan corporate office. All I can say is these headphones are absolutely fantastic! I read a number of reviews prior to purchasing - both good and bad. But my colleagues and I can only rave about them. They are an absolute sanity restorer!
