I saw the camera, loved it, bought it, now I can't use it because NO battery lasts more than 3 minutes. I have bought 3 sets of rechargeable batteries and charger and it is now obvious that I am wasting money. The issue is NOT the batteries, but the camera.

My 15yr old loves this camera, it fits in his pockets and the screen is larger than we thought it would be.

This camera works as intended, the battery life is not great when taking videos, and the standard memory is a bit low, but the expandability (up to 4gb) makes up for it, thus the 4 of 5 stars on this review.
Great Camera June 30, 2008
The GE A730 is an excellent camera for $79.99 + S&H. I needed a smaller point and shoot because I didn't want to take my Digital SLR to the beach. This a great buy for beginners or for someone who wants a smaller camera. It is easy to uses and has video mode also. It only requires 2 AA batteries which you can find anywhere. Day time and Night time shots were awesome.
