My boyfriend and I both have Asus Eee Pcs (a white 4G surf and a galaxy black 4G - both with Linux OS). In addition to being super easy to install, the extra memory has improved the speed and quality of the whole computer.
If using this memory with an Eee PC, make certain to either check for a door/compartment on the bottom of the computer or find a tutorial on how to access the ram slot through the keyboard. My Galaxy Black 4G had a door, but my boyfriend's white 4G surf did not.

This is a nice upgrade for my HP dv2000t. I replace a 1Gb stick with this 2gb stick and it works perfectly.Vista is a memory hog and I really notice a difference when going from 2gb to 3gb of ram.
