Product Description
As Nancy Drew, you'll have to expose an ominous threat! TV's hottest soap star, Rick Arlen, is receiving threatening letters, and it's up to Nancy to get to the bottom of them. Great for individual play or for sleuthing with Mom, Sis or friends!

Amazon.com Review
Nancy Drew has always been a great heroine, but she seemed kind of, well... stuffy. No more: Nancy gets down to the dirty work of crime solving in the excellent and engaging Nancy Drew: Stay Tuned for Danger. As you might imagine, we see a lot of software, but Danger captivated us, holding us long enough to postpone other reviews while we searched for more clues!

In the game, Nancy's job is to investigate death threats coming to Rick Arlen, a hunky TV soap star. The plot is straightforward enough, and here's what the software really does well: ambiance. The first-person perspective puts you in the center of the crime scenes, and the inventive game design lets you pick up objects for investigation and keep notes on things you've found.

Occasionally, you come across another person, and it can often be surprising. In the style of Choose Your Own Adventure books, you're given various questions to ask, and what you choose alters the outcome of what you learn. The people seem a little stiff in conversation (and, to be honest, in the graphics), but in a strange way, it helps increase the creepiness factor--an uptight verbal response makes sense, considering they're being interviewed about a serious crime.

There's a real rush that comes from finding key elements and extracting just the right piece of information from an unwitting witness. Nancy Drew, first created as a female version of the Hardy Boys in 1929, has weathered fashion and tastes well through the work of HerInteractive. For girls too old for "kids' stuff" but who still want a game that's all theirs, Nancy Drew: Stay Tuned for Danger can help fulfill a teen or preteen's need for adventure. --Jennifer Buckendorff

Amazon.com Product Description
In Stay Tuned for Danger, the lead actor on Light of Our Love is receiving frightening threats. It's up to you, as Nancy Drew, to find the perpetrator before it's too late. You'll have to go undercover as an extra on the show to expose the sinister scoundrel!

Enter the game, and you see the world through Nancy Drew's eyes. As you explore the detailed 3-D surroundings, you meet incredibly lifelike characters who all have a secret to hide. It's up to you to crack the case by piecing together information from conversations, mind-twisting puzzles, hidden messages, and other clues you uncover along the way. And if you get stuck, you can always call Nancy's best friends for helpful hints and additional clues.

If you loved Secrets Can Kill, we know you'll love Stay Tuned for Danger, the second in the Nancy Drew interactive mystery series.

5 out of 5 stars great game   May 24, 2008
this is a fun game, good for mystery fans to solve and for people who are starters. if you are interested in mysteries but can't find good games this is the series and a good game to start with. it is a little difficult, though, but its barely frustrating. the graphics are good, the mystery is good, and there is nothing bad about it.

5 out of 5 stars Fabulous! Stupendous! Awesome!   October 17, 2006
OMG! This game is like, the best! The graphics were great, and the personalities of the people were great too! Almost everyone seemed like a suspect, and more than one person was the culprit. Being herinteractive's second game, this is great!

Setting:
The setting takes place in the big apple. (New york) You are able to go to three places:An apartment, a tv studio, and another apartment.

What it's all about:
It's about a man named Rick Arlen getting death threats! He stars as Rory Danner on a soap opera called "Light of our love." The death threats are extremely creepy.

Suspects:
There are 7 suspects. The first one, of course, is Rick Arlen. He's very "full" of himself and has a crush on practically everyone he sees. Even Nancy. Is he writing himself the death threats for publicity? The second one is an ex of Rick. Her name is Mattie Jenson. She is sweet, and also stars on Light of our Love, and is suppost to be the girlfriend of Rory Danner on the show.but you never know what's behind her sweetness. The third is another ex of Rick. Lillian! She's the director of the show, and has major anger problems over Rick. She's so mad that Rick left her for her friend in LA, she's probably mad enough to kill. The other suspect is the prop master, Millie Strathhorn. She's a very ecccentric person, and thinks Rick is a big fake. The other is Dwayne who hates Rick. I mean hates Rick! He's the talent agent for Mattie, and the former one of Rick. Is he the killer? And the other is Bill Papas. He's mad at Rick, since Rick is threatning to leave Light of our love, and move on the the movie career. You don't actually see him, just hear him. And last, but maybe least, is the security guard! Watch out if he finds you snooping around! Not a major suspect, but I'd keep him on your suspect list if I were you.

Graphics:
The graphics were awesome!

Over all rating:
5 stars! You should really get this game! It can be a bit confusing sometimes, but still! You should really get it!

5 out of 5 stars Great Game!   July 10, 2006
This was probably one of my favorite games from Herinteractive. The graphics were very realistic, the music was fun, and the plot kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire game! The puzzles in the game were pretty challenging, so I wouldn't recommend to a new slueth. Buy this game if you love mysteries; you'll be in for a great time!

4 out of 5 stars An Enoyable ND.   April 26, 2006

This one is alot better than the first. It full of suspense and mystery.See, this family friend and daytime soap opera star invites Nancy to NY to discover who could be threatening her Co-Star. You can go to three different areas and in each one you get to do alot of sleuthing and find alot of clues. You can question suspects like Rick and Mattie to find out what they have to hide. You can go through secret passage ways to find out information that can help you solve the case. I really enjoyed it but I only gave it four stars because I like the later games a little better. But I would highly reccomend this game to any ND fan.

4 out of 5 stars Good but not great   March 24, 2006

After playing all 14 of the Nancy Drew computer games, my daughter found this one to be less interesting than the others. While good, this was not the very best of the Nancy Drew Computer games. I believe this might be one of the earlier games. The graphics are average and the mystery very simplistic. The two best Nancy Drew computer games are the Curse of Blackmoor manor for its complexity and graphics, and Secret of the Old clock for its charming appearance and similarity to the old Nancy Drew Mystery books. Once you have solved the first few, the games grow rather boring for an older person (such as a mother), but the kids seem to enjoy them again and again despite their similarities.
