Slooooooow action, great plot, hard games. January 17, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Hello, I am Russian Blue Witch. This product tells of how the CLuefinder end up on another planet, have to stop a wicked person named Malicia, and learn about reading on the way. This was my first CLuefinders game, and it was lucky I loved the plot or else I wouldn't have even bothered with the rest of the series. This is easily the worst in the series, with games that are hard to follow. There is one crossword puzzle game, for example, that gives you the worst possible definitions and expects you to find what their talking about. Another game expects you to move your mouse underneath both the ball and the correct answer. Yet another has you identify in ten seconds (Soon it will be less!) If it's an adverb or preposition, and then is it the main verb or the secondary verb? The final game, worst of all, takes a million years. You type in some random letters, hoping to guess the secret password. This last game is a bit easier if you write down all the letters of the alphabet and cross them off as you go- other wise you usually get real confused. I'm exagerating- as long as you already know a lot about reading, you'll be fine. And the plot is good enough to make up for most of it. Still, you might be better off with another Cluefinders game, like Cluefinders toy store adventure, or one of their 'grade' games- that is, third through sixth grade. If you can get it cheep, though, go ahead.
And that's all I have to say.
