Amazon.com Review
A great introduction to directed learning for toddlers, this is full of exciting sounds, shapes, colors, and beloved characters that are sure to delight any young fan of the Hundred Acre Wood. There are eight different areas for learning, all presented in a fun format of games and exploration. With 16 different skills to master, even the most precocious kids will find something to keep them busy.

Especially entertaining are the parts of the program that deal with letters and numbers: children pop balloons to raise the characters higher, helping Pooh along the way. Another pleasant addition: the coloring book can be printed on regular paper, and there are Avery stickers and flashcards included.

From sing-alongs to opposites, all the activities are easy for toddlers to decipher, as icons are big enough to handle even for those just learning mouse skills. There are Pooh's house to explore, guessing games to play, and musical instruments to play--more than enough for a rainy afternoon or two. Kids will love it, and what they learn will please you too. --Jill Lightner

5 out of 5 stars a pleasant computer introduction to little ones   June 3, 2008
I bought this program for my first grandson when he was 3. He loved it. It's simple and boring for grown ups , but at that age he was so proud to be on the computer., and he learned.,not only from the program.,but also how to work the computer. Now he is 6 years.,and he has playstation, nitendo, and wii.,he loves it all. He has programs for art and coloring, painting.,and very smart. I lost this program,it kept going from his house to mine and back again. Now I'm ordering it for his 2 1/2 year old brother and then to his new baby brother coming in July, plus it will be used by my grandaughter who is 3. Its a good program for little ones.

The learning games are satisfactory but the product itself is very low tech. It forces your screen resolution down to 480x640 and only 256 colors. If the game hangs up (often) your monitor is left at low res. They did not disable the Windows key on the keyboard and anyone with a child knows this key is hit often. It hangs up the game.
You are forced to run the program from the CD, no Hard Disk only install. If you have more than one Disney Interactive CD, you are left constantly changing CDs because we know how our kids love to change games in the middle.
There are 2 minutes of credits at the end of the game that you cannot bypass when exiting the game.
C'mon Disney. Your product is stuck in the early 90s. Get with the progam (pun intended).

My 3 year old is pretty bright and even though she could sing the ABC song I could not get her to visually recognize the letters. This CD ROM has a "popping ballons" game that is magnificent for learning to recognize the letters. This disk has multiple games that I know facilitated my daughters ability to become an expert with shapes, numbers and letters. I absolutely recommend it for all parents with toddlers in the home.
