an eye opener on Protools in practice September 4, 2003

Excellent explanations of the fundamental concepts of Protools. Lots of practical hints and tips (e.g. on the usage of "Aux in" tracks). The focus is not on explaining every Protools feature (that's what the manuals are for), but to give you a clear view on how to use Protools in daily practice. The authors know how to teach (which is not the same as just knowing how to use a tool without being able to explain to others). I would have given 5 stars if there hadn't been several editing errors in (this first edition of) the book (e.g. screenshots not matching the associated description).
