easy on an old man May 9, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Garmin StreetPilot III Instructional Video (010-10296-00) Like the title says, Plain and Simple. For an old man making the jump from windows 95 to Vista and a number of office suites apps. this was very helpful as were the other books in this series that I have purchased. It was not to loaded with jargon and did not assume I was a c++ programer.
It really IS plain & Simple!! November 11, 2007 9 out of 10 found this review helpful
I had never used Power Point, and in a month I have a presentation due for a new course I am taking. I looked for the simplest, most understandable book that would not take me a year to read through. I hadn't much faith, knowing how techy books, especially for software, were: complex, assuming you know more than you do. This book is so enjoyable to use, and so simple, I could start from square one and complete my presentation in one evening. I wish I could write Nancy and thank her! If you have never worked with Power Point, or think it is too complicated, this is the book for you. Forget the classes, just get this book.
You absolutely have to buy this book! October 29, 2007 9 out of 10 found this review helpful
This is a great series and this book is one of the best. It shows you everything you need to do in a really nice, colorful design. The author clearly knows her way around PowerPoint and her tips alone are worth the price of the book. A wonderful way to get up to speed!
