5 out of 5 stars Worried about compatibility, but....   August 18, 2008
it connected quickly and with no errors on my new HP laptop running 64-bit VISTA; worked great on Eragon and Mass Effect.

5 out of 5 stars Great controller!   August 14, 2008
Pros:
This a great controller its made from tough quality plastic, not cheap stuff that I've seen other controllers made from. It has good weight to it, its not to heavy but not to light. The battery life it great, I've had this for 10days now and I use it every day for about an hour at least and its still going strong with the battery's that came with it. Range wise its perfect I haven't experienced any type of lag or anything and I'm able to go to the other end of my apartment and it still works perfecty. It can be made to work with any game with the software that it uses.

Cons:
Uses battery's. The vibration doesn't work on games that don't support controllers and even on some that do. The dpad seams cheaper than the rest of the controller. The software that is used to make the controller work with non-supporting games it a a big pain since you have to program every action in the game to one on the controller manually.

Other thoughts:
I got this to use on racing games and any button mashing type games like devil may cry 4 and I'm very satisfied with it. You dont have to worry about computability with this controller, new games like assassins creed, dmc4, and flatout uc all work with this automatically and if a game doesn't support controllers you use the software that comes with it(get the latest drivers at the site though) The oldest game that I have that I tested was max Payne 2 and it worked perfectly. I highly recommended this product to everyone looking for a quality controller.

5 out of 5 stars Best one I've owned   August 11, 2008
I've owned a few of these handheld controllers and this Logitech seems to be the best. I had one from Walmart that literally fell apart in my hands, and I'm not rough on my computer equipment. Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2 is built sturdy and can take a LOT of use. I highly recommend it. As a matter of fact, I'm buying a second one for my laptop.

5 out of 5 stars Wireless Rumblepad 2 Is Great   July 21, 2008
The wireless rumblepad 2 great. I bought it for Race Driver: GRID, but also used it for LEGO Indiana Jones and Mass Effect. Works wonderfully with all the mentioned games. It comes with the Logitech Profiler software, which lets your bind buttons on the rumblepad with key presses, combination's of key presses, and lets the analog stick (either one) be the mouse. The profiler software came in handy for me because I couldn't get Mass Effect to recognize the rumblepad 2, so I bound the rumblepad to keyboard keys.

The only possible down side was that the rumblepad shuts off after a short period of inactivity and a button needs to be pressed in order for it to wake up.

4 out of 5 stars GReat controller   July 16, 2008
Pros: Works great, easy installation, like the design ,has study feel to it

COns: Feels kind of heaver than PS2 controller most cause of the batteries, runs off batteries which means you have to replace every time they run out

First logitech controller to buy and love it
Had it for a month and using it for GTA:San Andreas Works great
