The speakers are wonderful! Have been using them for about a month now with my laptop, and they have very good sound quality. I am no sound expert, but the tonal range is great as far as i can tell. I was glad to find there's a separate control for the bass on the bass box, as this was helpful in balancing the treble from the small speakers. Great for music and watching movies! Great for a tiny, cluttered desk as there is enough cord to put the bass on the floor and tape the volume control to a pillar. Very satisfied!

bought them brand new and the quality is pathetic. Not worth it very static not loud sound like they are blown

I was quite pleased with the quality of these speakers; I don't need audiophile quality sound on my PC. The sound is definitely superior to that of other speakers I've used in this price range. However, after 3 months the speakers stopped working properly. There is no sound when I first boot the computer; I have to unplug the speaker connector several times in order to start them up. Once they've been on for a few hours, the sound stops again. I have verified the problem is the with the speakers and not my sound card. If they had lasted longer, I would have rated them 5-stars for their value.

I was looking for speakers for a discount price because money was tight at the time I decided to make the purchase. I wasn't expecting a great sound because of the price because...you get what you pay for, right?
This is one of the few exceptions I have come across. The sound is amazing for the price! Sure, you can't turn it up real high, and if the bass is turned up real high it doesn't seem to sound right. But you should expect that. If you don't want that then put some more money down, cheapskate!

I am amazed at the sound from these inexpensive speakers. Your not gonna find a better deal than this. The only issue I have is I dont like the seperate volume control.
