This bi-directional cable converts S-Video to composite RCA or vice-versa without an expensive active converter. This quality 75ohm coax cable is double-shielded with 85% aluminum foil and braid to reduce unwanted noise and distortion. The Y/C signal separation circuitry provides a bright, crisp picture from your PC. In addition to fitting standard S-Video jacks, the cable fits both 7-pin and 4-pin jacks on desktops and notebooks with a TV out jack. This product did everything I was needing it to do. I am deployed o Iraq an just wanted to be able to watch the movies on my hard drive on my TV and this made it possible.
Very good price for a very good cable July 6, 2008
As soon as I opened the package I knew that this cable really deserved the money. It looks very sturdy, the video cable is very thick and I think it's gonan last long. It's a very convenient solution for video&audio transfer between PC and TV. Do not go for any other cables but this one.
Exactly what I needed May 16, 2008
I can connect my TV to my laptop easily with this cord! The sound and picture are great. Also, I can keep my laptop close so I can easily change the video.

A good buy. I liked the price and it is a superior quality. I use the 25 foot from my computer to my TV for watching TV shows that I record.

I bought this to connect my laptop to my LCD TV and play movies via Netflix. First off, it only supports 800x600 and 1024x768 resolutions, which isn't the widescreen I was hoping for. I'm not sure why it doesn't support others. The sound is fine though, and when playing full screen movies the quality looks fine. When not playing movies, however, text is really hard to read and picture quality looks poor.
But, though it has cons, it does exactly what I bought it to do so you can't knock that.
