This charger is VERY FLIMSY. We used it for about a week before the charging pin section came apart - now it does not work. IF AMAZON READS THIS - I expect a replacement OR my money back.
This so-called OEM is absolutely not worth the $20 you pay - especially for the flimsy construction.
Aweful - that about says it right!

Received product but it was not the product advertised. Wrong adapter for my Garmin. Had to return product and request refund. First time I have ever had a problem with Amazon. Maybe you should stick to selling books.

This sand-bag type mount for Garmin GPS works great in my Dodge Caravan. It does not slide or move at all even when I round those curves at high speed. Easier and better than window suction cup mount.

I bought this because I didnt need te fm transmitter cord for all my vehicles as local traffic updates are not available yet in my vicinity and the power cords with the FM transmitter is like $90..
This plugs in and powers the base just like the more expensive one does and now I have the ability to move my Nuvi from base to base without moving the cord in all three vehicles.....:-)
