This little speaker array is a huge improvement over the pathetic sound I got from my Toshiba laptop.
It's not audiophile quality sound but considering it's size, it has great presence and volume.
Highly recommended.
 This stopped working after 1 month October 28, 2008
It worked wonderfully for one month then stopped all of a sudden! DO NOT BUY THIS!
 missing docs October 25, 2008
just rec'd this - seems to work ok although i had a temporary very serious "blue screen" issue.
BUT came without the documentation that was supposed to be in the box.
and looking on line am not sure how to get it!

An excellent speaker for the money. It has fairly rich sound from its small woofer and tweeters and it easily offers vastly louder audio than my on board audio for the Mac Mini computer. Granted, the loudness will not blow you out of the room like larger speakers but if you need a solid, basic speaker with decent loudness and some fidelity then this will do the job.
Installation was a breeze and I had it up and running within three minutes after unpacking it. Mac OSX immediately recognized it after I changed the Speaker setup in Preferences.
