Business owner June 24, 2008 Power adaptor works well, but I have reservations due to the cheap plastic. It is great so far.
magellan power card June 2, 2008 The prongs on the reciever end does not make good contact. I can get the GPS to work as long as I dont move it around. Screw that holds it on the GPS, bottoms out before it touches the contacts.
Second choice Ok May 8, 2008 The product works well and the transaction with Amazon is great as always. What I needed was this cable with a computer adapter included but apparently there are none available.
Works well for me May 7, 2007 Hey, its a cord. What do you expect? I have a Magellan SporTrak Pro and bought this cord to use in the car on vacation earlier this year. The cord connects to the back of the GPS unit and plugs into the power jack in your car. Worked just fine for me using it this way.
Works like it is supposed to March 11, 2007 The cord works flawlessly, as you would expect. The unit will automatically switch between internal & external power.
This Magellan GPS really eats the batteries. It will drain two fresh premium alk. batteries in about 6-8 hrs. That is with the light turned off. So at least while in the car I can have unlimited power.
