 What a simple solution! July 19, 2008
We use this mat with our TomTom One 3rd Edition and it works just as advertised. It has been used in my Dodge Caravan and my husband's Dakota pick up. The mat has never budged on the dash. Due to the long sloped windshield on the Caravan, when I was using the windshield mount for the GPS, I had to keep in on the left side in order to get the GPS close enough. Now with the mat, it can be front and center on the dash and not in my line of vision or so far down the dash that I can't see it or access it. Makes it very simple to pull off the dash to stash it out of sight or switch vehicles. MUCH lower price than at BestBuy. Certainly worth the price through Amazon.

We ordered this at the same time as the TomTomXLS. When they arrived, at first I thought I wouldn't use the mat and wished I hadn't ordered it. However, I have changed my mind and use it all the time. It's recommended that you take off the suction mount from the windshield so it's not so obvious that you have a GPS when you're at a mall, etc, but I found it difficult to remove. This was also a concern when I wanted to use it in a different car. The mat makes this very easy. The suction mount stays adhered to the mat and I just take it with me to another car or leave it on the floor when I go shopping. I also like how it positions the GPS on the dash. It's much easier to reach.
Better Mount Than The Garmin At 1/3rd The Price July 19, 2008
This is a very good/stable portable 'beanbag' type mount and better than the Garmin at 1/3rd the price - buy it -eh!!!

I wish they would have had this out 3 years ago. This works great. I've used it in 3 cars and not once has it moved or has the gps system fallen off its base. This is a must have for any gps.

After reading all the glowing reviews for this product I knew it would fulfill my needs, I just didn't expect it to be as great as it is. It does one thing, holds your GPS securely on your dashboard, and it does it fabulously. I have my 4" Sanyo 4050 mounted to it on my very curvaceous Nissan Sentra dash and it is rock solid when mounted on the Nav-Mat.
Highly recommended, especially at the Amazon price.
