 Sleek design, yet heavy duty. May 9, 2008
I only use OmniMount products when I commercially install LCD's and Plasma displays for my clients.
So when it came to installing a small LCD in my home the decision was easy. OmniMount.
Solid Product with minor glitch January 7, 2008
I was looking for a small articulating mount with a very low profile for a 15" LCD in my kitchen. This product works perfectly in my space but does have one minor problem. The front swivel mount can not be tightened enough to keep the screen from drooping. I was able to put a small block of wood inside the swivel joint to keep the screen upright. Fortunately this fix works and you can not see the wood piece from any angle.
Best monitor swing arm November 25, 2007
I love the versatility and simplicity in design of this unit. I have used this for all the monitors in my home and my cyber cafe. It moves in every position I could ever want, it can be used to move the monitor closer (up to 18 inches forward from the wall, roughly) or nearly flush against the wall. I'm not sure if the company is still making this or not. They are fairly difficult to find, and more recently can only be found here on Amazon used. The vendor is great, and I have never hand a problem with missing hardware.

This mount is well-made and sturdy. It was fairly easy to mount it to the wall, although the weight made it a little awkward (a third hand is helpful). Something that should have been emphasized in the instructions is that the mount MUST be leveled, or the LCD panel will tend to swing one way or the other. Otherwise, I have no problems with this equipment.
