 Excellent Shelf for Components October 11, 2008
This is an excellent shelf to put componenets on. It is easy to assembly and mount to the wall. It also looks really great. I currently have an HD TiVo and DVD player sitting on it and have room for more. As others have stated the wire way does not hold that many wires so you may want to look at another way to hide them. Mine is near the corner so I ues a corner wire way I bought from Lowes. I do recommend that once you get it in an area that you like that you tighten the bolt done at the rotation point. By doing this you can lock the shelf in place. I tightened it so it stays were it is at but can still move with a little force. If you have children be carful where you mount it at the edges are rounded but could stil hurt them if they ran into it hard enough.

I got this shelf for my Directv DVR to go above my flat screen that I mounted on the wall. The construction of this shelf is made with great quality. The ONLY real thing I don't like about it (and it should have been obvious to me) is that when you mount this shelf up high, you can see straight through the glass to the bottom of the receiver (or whatever you have on the shelf) and most of the time, its not something you WANT to see. If this shelf had smoked black glass, it would be 100% perfect for my situation. Other then that, love it.

Very nice shelf unit, looked better then the pics especially with the new black HR21 receiver by Directv. Also very easy to assemble!

This product works as described. I've hade it installed for a few weeks now and it works great. Just make sure you don't go over the weight limit. Other than that it's a great product, well built and solid design.

I purchased this shelf to hold components for the new flat panel TV I purchased. The Dish box and the DVD player fit nicely. It was easy to install and I like that it is clear so it doesn't seem bulky above the low-profile TV. Works perfectly for our needs.
