Well Built Inverter September 23, 2008
I have been using it a few times so far for charging the battery for a cordless drill. It is silent and runs cool. It beeps (warning) at times while the engine is not running. This probably is due to low voltage from the vehicle battery, since it won't happen when I am driving and charging. The manual says that if the input voltage is low, it will sound an alarm and when that voltage falls below the designed threshold, it will shut off the inverter for safety purpose. So far so good.
