beverage heater February 18, 2008 great product for travelers who like to make tea or hot chocolate in the hotel room. Good company too.. very responsive and helplful.
Works fine October 20, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The immersion heater is compact and priced well with a generous electrical cord. The unit meets my needs similar to review #1. It takes longer than expected to heat up my tea and the clip that supports it on a coffee cup is poorly designed allowing the heater to flop around in the cup. Be sure you have an robust electrical circuit in your car as the beast draws 10+ amps. My question is, how long will it last?
Good enough for my purposes April 7, 2007 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
Hot water in my flask doesn't stay hot enough for a whole day out, and this is a good way to bring my tea or coffee up to temperature. I haven't tried heating water from cold - it is always at least warm when I start. It takes several minutes and the wait can be a bit tedious, but it does a good job. The clip which is supposed to hold the heater onto the side of the mug doesn't (it flops about), so I have to hold it to keep it properly immersed. It cools off quickly and is reasonably easy to clean with a small brush.
