very simple to activate - took less then 5 seconds. Will do repeat business with this seller.
Works as it should May 25, 2008
Bought this for the car parked outside. Programming was piece of cake, just read the directions in the pamphlet or on the garage opening motor [which I did].
3 steps
1. Press and HOLD the open button on the remote
2. Press and RELEASE the purple button [I forgot what they called it]
3. Release the remote button ONCE the garage openers' LIGHT comes on.
Make sure you reprogram the old remotes at the same time so they all work on the same code, frequency, or what-not.
Excellent seller as well, brought it from "ASPDOORS & A WHOLE LOT MORE"

 Could not make this product work!! :( March 8, 2008
I spent almost an hour trying to make this remote work. I tried testing the battery, taking it apart and re-assembling it all to no avail. In the end I went to Sears and bought one that worked instantly.

Just make sure this is the correct model for your particular opener, and you should be good. Had mine programmed within seconds, and works just fine.
