5 out of 5 stars link to ease   May 23, 2008
The graphlink is a wonderful gadget for the TI-83. It is an instant receiver and sender of applications and documents.
A+++++++

1 out of 5 stars Worthless   April 6, 2008

I'm a physics student and have been using my TI-83 a lot lately. The programing feature is actually very useful...I thought that I would be able to increase it's usability with the USB cable. My plan was to write more complex programs with an emulator and then upload them to the TI-83.

Emulators aren't that easy to get running for one thing, and all they do is make it easier to type in the commands...That's it ...

Worthless...in fact, if you really want to get into math, start programming in a high level language and buy an inexpensive laptop and take that to school...don't waste your time with calculators...

Although, HP makes a very good calculator which is comparable to the TI-89 Titanium although less expensive.

5 out of 5 stars TI graphlink cable   April 5, 2008
This items performed exactly the way I expected.
I am very happy with Amazon for making it available at such a price.
We will do business again, I'm sure.
Thank you.

3 out of 5 stars Dispensable   March 2, 2008
The TI graph calculators already bring one, so its not entirely necessary to get one, unless you think you need a backup.

5 out of 5 stars Caution: Amazon website misleads you into buying this with Voyage 200   February 6, 2008

This cable is already available if you order a TI Voyage 200. Amazon's website gives you a "combined" price for Voyage 200 and this cable - which could be characterized as deceptive practice. When you order the "combo", Amazon ships Voyage 200 (which already includes the cable)from one vendor, and charges you for shipping; and then ships a separate cable from another vendor and charges you again for shipping. I am hoping I can return this at Amazon's cost and recover my second shipping cost as well. When I look at the reviews in Amazon.com now, it seems that Amazon has been engaged in this seemingly deceptive practice since 2005
