Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
The PXC150 is a pair of closed, dynamic, supra-aural stereo mini headphones with NoiseGard active noise compensation. Due to their active and passive noise attenuation of ambient noise, they let you enjoy music even in noisy environments. The headphones come with a convenient pouch plus a special adapter for use on planes, making them an ideal travel companion.

5 out of 5 stars very good   May 13, 2008
Delivery is so fast, and the earphone is good, but one thing i should mention is that there is no box to carry the earphone, so it is not as convinent as PXC 300 or 250.

4 out of 5 stars Great headphones, good noise cancelling...   March 18, 2008

These headphones sound great and the noise cancelling works well. If you are expecting headphones that will eliminate all the noise on a plane trip, for example, then these headphones will not do that. For that you really need the big, cushioned headphones that completely cover your ears. I like these because they cut the low drone of the plane's engines and ventilation system and reduce other cabin noises and let you clearly listen to the inflight movies or to music without completely cutting you off to what's going on around you.

3 out of 5 stars Alright for the money   October 17, 2007
I am going my 2nd pair of NC that are non-Bose.
I think 3rd time is a charm and I am going to finally learn my lesson and get the Bose.

I do a lot of air travel so the 2 things I try to look for in a pair of NC are:
1)Compact and easy to store
2)Decent NC to reduce plane noise

I feel the NC part of this works fine.
What bugs me about this pair is the cord that is attached to the battery stick. It gets tangled and trying to pack this in the laptop bag isn't the best. The battery part is just too big and clunky.

3 out of 5 stars good sound with drawbacks   June 29, 2007

i like the sound, crips high's and mid, not a lot of bass, but sounds very nice, however, this baby is going back because the three drawbacks:

1) it's a mini headphone, my ear hurts after wearing if for extended time, this is more apparent if I compare it with my other headphones.

2) the noise cancellation unit is a pain, make the headphone only useful i I am stationary.

3) uses 2 AAA batteries, the noise cancellation is marginal and cost $$, and gives a slight hiss sound when turned on, which is sometimes annoying when between songs.

biggest issues is the earcup too small, also the ugly bad design of the noise cancellation unit.
