Amazon.com Product Description Designed for use with any cordless phone possessing a standard 2.5 mm jack, Panasonic's KX-TCA92 is an excellent way for you to talk hands-free while you work. Its boom-style microphone adjusts to an optimum level for your mouth and cancels solid-state background noise for cleaner transmissions. The KX-TCA92 is reversible--you may wear it on either ear--and it uses a comfortable, lightweight design and offers a 4-foot cord so you'll enjoy nearly unfettered movement while wearing it. What's in the Box Headset, a user's guide, and warranty information.

headset July 13, 2008 An excellent handsfree set.The sound is good and people are able to hear and be heard.
Sound level for listener is terrible July 9, 2008 While I can hear fine with this headset, the people on the other end have trouble hearing me. This is mostly due to the fact that the mouth piece speaker is not flexible and does not point towards my mouth. I will be returning to the other panasonic model that provides a flexible mouth piece.
Good sound, quiet microphone, bad mute button July 8, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I've used this headset for a couple of years and it has some great features - it is comfortable to wear for extended periods, it's reversible so you can use it on either ear and the listening sound is good.
However, I have had some comments that the microphone is a little quiet - it doesn't cause major issues, but if you work in a noisy environment, that could be a significant factor.
My biggest issue with the headset is the mute button. Unlike other headsets which have an on/off switch for the mute function, this headset requires you to continue to press the mute button. So, when I am in a long teleconference and am trying to multitask, I end up having to find some way to hold the mute down so others cannot hear my typing, etc. Holding it in my teeth has proved the most effective but is clearly sub-optimal!
Great Item July 5, 2008 WOrks fine with panasonic phone I bought. Turns out though the phones work great in speaker mode. they dont make u sound like ur in a tunnel or a noisey room so I didnt really need to get this headset.
Need folding over-head headset? This is best I've found. July 4, 2008 If you need an over-the-head portable headset or need one that puts the boom mic right in front of your mouth, this is the best I've found. It could fold smaller, it could be a little louder (and deliver a little louder speech into the connected phone), and those improvements would be nice. But short of those, this is the best I've found.
