Every few pages there is a smudge that occurs. More like an ink blotch that is usally less than 1cm x 1cm on any given page. Other than that the color prints are nice.

I have had the LaserJet printer for 2 months. I purchased the refurbished printer, with some hesitation but I am happy to say that there are no problems. I really like the duplex feature, which prints on both sides of a page. Really saves paper (halves the trees chopped down), and the ink-wise cost per page on these HP laser jets is the best on the market (based on discounted price of cartridges). I also like the speed relative to the ink jet printer I was using before. Several reviews have pointed out that the printed colors are not true, but I found by trying different color sync options I was able to get a better output, that matched the screen colors well. In summary, I am pleased with the purchase.
